The course will provide a lakefront 1.5 mile TRAIL loop to be completed 2, 4, 6, or 9 times.
CUTOFF for all events: 3 hours

The bold Tees are guaranteed to spark conversations, laughs, and looks and boast no cheesiness, great affordability, and high quality designs. This is a great race to RUN FOR THE SHIRT!
The event will feature a post-race, quantity-based PUSH-UP Competition and a time-based WALL (or tree) SQUAT Competition for race finishers.

Mt. Trashmore Park

meet in parking lot by the LAKE!
CUTOFF: 3 hours, 15 minutes

You will feel like trash, look like junk, smell like garbage, and might have to take a dump. These outcomes will result from running VA Beach's Toughest HALF at Mt. Trashmore. This FREE FUN RUN will combine the lovable half marathon distance with the joy of climbing hills. 

Now that your legs already hurt, let me make your brain feel the pain. We will start in the center of Mt. Trashmore by the lake. From there, we will run over that sucker, slightly right for a short flat section, and up and over Encore Hill. This distance will be marked with cones as being 0.262 miles. Out and back is 0.524. Out and back 25 times is 13.1!!! :) 

HEY! I could have made it 26.2 laps...I'm vouching for the sanity of us all!! It may add 15 seconds per lap...tehehe.

So, out-and-back makes four hills: twice over Trashmore and twice over Encore (...what an ironic name for a hill in this event!) Out and back 25 times makes 100 climbs.

 (Someone crafty should make stickers that say "I climbed Mt. Trashmore 50 times...in one day!") 

Bring a Sharpie to keep tallies of each of the 25 out-and-backs.

Donate $10 to your favorite charity.

FINISHERS receive a piece of TRASH.
ELEVATION GAIN: Over 3500 feet!!! (aka Over Half a Mile ^^^^^UP^^^^^)
